The wild introduction of captive giant panda in 2018 put to an end   2018-07-17 19:45:15     

  Since the introduction reaserch carried out by the Giant Panda Protection Research Center in 2018,there are 4 giant pandas involved in the field experiment. 

  At present, all giant pandas' field estrus, mating,tracking and monitoring tasks have been successfully completed and achieved preliminary results.

  According to the 2018 key work plan and arrangement of the protection center, at the beginning of this year, 4 giant pandas have been put into Wolong protection zone and Tiantai Mountain region for field experiment. 

  Through tracking and monitoring, the researchers have found that all the pandas have been pregnant.They keep a close contact with those giant pandas. 

  At present, a giant panda showed its sign of pregnancy.The researchers will be fully prepared for the coming reprodution. 

  At the same time, the researchers will carry out field investigation and data analysis on giant panda's wild mating area, and actively summarize the work experience, innovative research methods, and highlight the effectiveness of working,in order to open a new  chapter for panda protection.

YA’AN Ya'an is a prefecture-level city in the western part of Sichuan province, People's Republic of China, located just below the Tibetan Plateau.The first giant panda was found in Baoxing County of Ya'an; Ya'an is also the origin of Artificial planting tea of the world; Mengding Mountain in Mingshan County, has been keeping seven tea trees, which are believed to be the origins of tea, for more than 1,000 years.
