A giant pand anda in Chengdu breeding base showed abnormal behavior

Recently, the giant panda "Meilan" in the Chengdu giant panda breeding research base has worried many panda fans.
"Meilan" has been rubbing the head in the indoor field, with a dirty print on the head, and such movemont has appeared for some time.Panda fans is worried whether "Meilan" is sick or injured.
On May 16th,the Chengdu giant panda breeding research base responded: "Meilan" was not injured.It has been thoroughly checked, and the pand house has been improved.
In late March 2018, the breeder discovered that Meilan had scratched its head when it was kept indoors.
On 16th, the staff in Chengdu giant panda base said they received concerns from panda fans in the recent period."We cleaned its head and carried out a full examination.The result showed that the head wasn't injured."
By observing and analyzing the behavior of the giant panda, experts found "Meilan" would scratch its head when the keeper was in outdoor field or changing food.At present, Meilan's physical condition and appetite are normal.
At present,researchers have set up targeted training programs for "Meilan", which will be carried out by exclusive breeder and behavioral training experts.
The relayout of the base has also been adjusted."Meilan" will settle in it this week.By changing its living environment and increasing environmental stimulation,the staff belive that it will help reduce the panda's abnormal behavior.
