Baobao adapted to local food____steamed corn bread

  Giant panda Baobao has lived a happy life at the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda in Sichuan province after returning home.March 9th was Baobao's 15 days in China.

  According to a keeper at Dujiangyan Base who fed Baobao on Thursday that It was still excited,somtimes it would roll on the ground or rub the tree with its head.The keeper aslo found it amazing that Baobao has adapted to her new environment and tried to chew some steamed corn bread without spiting out.

  Related:Baobao was born at the Smithsonian National Zoological Park in Washington in 2013, and returned to China on Feb 22.She was the child of the superstar couple Mei Xiang and TianTian, who were sent to the U.S. in 2000 under the cooperative breeding agreement. On her 100-day birthday, BaoBao became the first panda to receive blessing videos from both the first ladies of China and the U.S., Peng Liyuan and Michelle Obama.


YA’AN Ya'an is a prefecture-level city in the western part of Sichuan province, People's Republic of China, located just below the Tibetan Plateau.The first giant panda was found in Baoxing County of Ya'an; Ya'an is also the origin of Artificial planting tea of the world; Mengding Mountain in Mingshan County, has been keeping seven tea trees, which are believed to be the origins of tea, for more than 1,000 years.
