“GaoGao”and “BaiYun”

"BaiYun" was born on September 7, 1991 at the China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Panda in Wolong. "GaoGao" was wild born and his birth year is estimated to be 1992. He was found seriously injured and nursed back to health at the Fengtongzhai Nature Reserve. He arrived at the San Diego Zoo on January 15th, 2003. "YunZi" was born on August 5th, 2009 at the San Diego Zoo.

"HuaMei" was born on August 21, 1999 at the San Diego Zoo. Her mother is "BaiYun" and father is "ShiShi". She was returned to the China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Panda in Wolong in 2004 and relocated to the Bifengxia Panda Base following the May 2008 earthquake. "HuaMei" has had seven cubs to date.

"MeiSheng" was born on August 19th, 2003 at the San Diego Zoo. His mother is "BaiYun" and father is "GaoGao". He was returned to the China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Panda in Wolong in 2007 and relocated to the Bifengxia Panda Base following the May 2008 earthquake.

 "SuLin" was born on August 2nd, 2005 at the San Diego Zoo. Her mother is "BaiYun" and father is "GaoGao". She was returned with her sister to China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Panda at Bifengxia in 2010.

"ZhenZhen" was born on August 3rd, 2007 at the San Diego Zoo. Her mother is "BaiYun" and father is "GaoGao". She was returned with her sister to China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Panda at Bifengxia in 2010.

YA’AN Ya'an is a prefecture-level city in the western part of Sichuan province, People's Republic of China, located just below the Tibetan Plateau.The first giant panda was found in Baoxing County of Ya'an; Ya'an is also the origin of Artificial planting tea of the world; Mengding Mountain in Mingshan County, has been keeping seven tea trees, which are believed to be the origins of tea, for more than 1,000 years.
